On a certain sabbath Jesus went into the synagogue and taught, and there was a man there whose right hand was withered. The scribes and the Pharisees watched him closely to see if he would cure on the sabbath so that they might discover a reason to accuse him. But he realized their intentions… Luke 6:6–8

My glorious Lord, you know all thoughts and probe the depths of every heart. You know me, Lord, through and through. Please open my eyes to see that which is within me so that I can discern the ill intentions I have and rejoice in the virtues given to me by You. R.E - Life In The Early Church - Match the secentes Term 3 2021

Today for R.E we were learning about the Christians in the Early Church. Many Of the early Chrstians were the first martyers who gave thier lives as followers of Jesus. The first christians sold their possensions and shared thier proceeds with the community. They gave what they had to the apostles to distribute those in needs.

Jesus Ascension Day Term 2 2021

Today me and my class were doing a activity on Jesus Ascension. The acvity was that we had to match some sentences with Column A and Column B. We also had to create a Storyboard of the main ideas happeing leading up to Ascension Day.

Jesus entered Jerusalem - on a donkey 50 days before Ascension day.

On Thursday of the week that followed Palm Sunday - Jesus had his last meal with his apostles

The day after his last supper Jesus - was put to death on  calvary hill. 

Jesus lay in a tomb for 3 days and then God raised him up. 

After his resurrection Jesus showed himself - to his friends and some did not recognise him.

He spent time with his apostles and - told them he was going to return to his father

50 days after Palm Sunday Jesus made it possible for his followers to do the same thing

Because Jesus entered heaven in glory he - was taken by God to share his glory in heaven

R.E Year 6 Soul Friends Day TErm 1 2021

On the 17th of March it was St. Patrick day and Soul Friends day. We were doing a mass for St. Patrick day, Souls friends day and Ash  Wednesday. Mrs Willam called Moala, Krystal, Melenaite, Maraia, mele, Xaiver, Taniela, sione and I had to go down stairs for 5 miniutes. We went down stairs and our soul friends gave a present, Mrs Willams told us to go and take a picture and when we all toke a picture she said to go together as a group and take a poicture and we did. R.E Soul Friends, Ash Wednesday and St Patrick day Term 1 2021

 Today of R.E St Pius X went to go do a mass for Soul Friends day, St Patrick day and Ash wednesday when it was all finish TWP 5 came back to class and we did a DLO about Soul friends day etc. Chack my activity down below!
