Back To School Term 4 2021

 Today was our first day at School and we couldn't go inside the classrom, when the bell rang we all went down stairs to do prayer with the whole school then one class had to go to one plce and the other had to go to another place my class and I went upstairs and we had to sit away from each other.

First thing we did was lisening to a song called Together as one from Andrew Chinn Second thing we had to do was R.E and for R.E we had to create a google drawing and write how we feel about coming back toegether after sush a long time away from your friends and we had to read a scripture reading from Mark 1:16-20 then we had to write down the key characteristics I look in a friend is then we had to write down Jesus I am glad to see..... Becuase he/she is ..... Jesus we are glad to be together with our friedns again. then we had to blog. The last thing we did was listen to the pslam Blessing song by Andrew Chinn

Jesus Ascension Day Term 2 2021

Today me and my class were doing a activity on Jesus Ascension. The acvity was that we had to match some sentences with Column A and Column B. We also had to create a Storyboard of the main ideas happeing leading up to Ascension Day.

Jesus entered Jerusalem - on a donkey 50 days before Ascension day.

On Thursday of the week that followed Palm Sunday - Jesus had his last meal with his apostles

The day after his last supper Jesus - was put to death on  calvary hill. 

Jesus lay in a tomb for 3 days and then God raised him up. 

After his resurrection Jesus showed himself - to his friends and some did not recognise him.

He spent time with his apostles and - told them he was going to return to his father

50 days after Palm Sunday Jesus made it possible for his followers to do the same thing

Because Jesus entered heaven in glory he - was taken by God to share his glory in heaven

Te Aro Māori Te Reo Māori Term 2 2021

 Today for Māori we were learning about The Māori alphabet (arapū). The alphabet is made up of eight consonants, five vowels and two digraphs. Digraphs are two letters that combine to form one sound. I really liked doing it and it was really easy. It ios important that we have to remmeber the diffrents between the long and short vowels. Check my activity down below! How Maui slowed the sun Term 1 2021

On Wednesday the 13th of April the year 5 & 6 were going to Kia o rahi but it rained so we went back to school and we were watching a video called How Maui slowed the sun so when we finished watching the vedio  she siad tht we are going to make a mat out of paper we were  confused bso then she showed us this vedio and then we knew what to do so we went to work then she gave us a part from the vedio and we had to draw then we have to show it to her then draw it out of vivid. Briana Dinosaur Timeline Term 1 2021

 Today for Science we were learning about Dinosaurs. The three periods we learned was Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassac. 

Cretaceous - The Cretaceous Period was hte last and longedt sedment of the Mesozoic Era. It lasted  approximatelty 79 millions ago from the minor extintion event, that closed the Jurassic Period about 145.5 million years ago to the Cretaceous - Paleogene extintion event dated at 65.5 million yeazrs ago.

Jurassic - The Jurassic Period ( 199.6 millions ago to 145.5 millions years ago was characteried by warm and wet climate that gave rise to lush vegetation and abundant life. Among them were stegosaurs, brachiosaurs, allosaurs, and many others.

Triassic - The Triassic Period occurred between 251. 902 and 201.3 million years ago.    The Triassic Period is the first of the three geologic periods of the Mesozoic Era.   The Triassic Period lasted roughly 50.6 million years.

The Māori Gods Term 1 2021

Today me an d my class were learning about The Maori Gods. Something I found hard was nothing and something I found easy was everything It was really fun doing it. R.E Year 6 Soul Friends Day TErm 1 2021

On the 17th of March it was St. Patrick day and Soul Friends day. We were doing a mass for St. Patrick day, Souls friends day and Ash  Wednesday. Mrs Willam called Moala, Krystal, Melenaite, Maraia, mele, Xaiver, Taniela, sione and I had to go down stairs for 5 miniutes. We went down stairs and our soul friends gave a present, Mrs Willams told us to go and take a picture and when we all toke a picture she said to go together as a group and take a poicture and we did.
